This is a guest post from a participant in our 10 week sessions. This is her experience in her words. It takes a lot of courage to share and we hope you enjoy hearing a bit about her journey.

"My family recently undertook Mona’s 10-week course on communication and understanding of mental health. I can hardly believe what a positive affect it has had on our lives and relationships among our families. Every family faces difficult and emotional times, and we usually lean on each other to get though it! But there are some emotional traumas that we all experience at the same time; in our case it was the sudden death of a brother and a child within a 10-month time span. Normally, we’d be there helping each other and in hindsight, we believed we were, but 6 years on we were - still are grieving. Mona’s program has helped us to recognize, communicate, and take care of ourselves so we can in turn be there for each other. Her compassion and wisdom to get to know us and guide us has saved our relationships and has set us on a path of healing. We can’t thank her enough!"
