3 Pillars of Flourishing Life Questionnaire of Flourishing Life Technologies

In a world where mental health challenges are often viewed as individual battles, families find themselves weaving through a complex network of support systems that sometimes pull them in different directions. The emphasis on individual struggles can inadvertently leave families fragmented, making it tougher for them to thrive together. Similarily, in the workplace, employees face daily stressors that impact their mental well-being, potentially leading to increased absenteeism and retention issue if not addressed properly.

The Flourishing Life Questionnaire is used in our programs - Families Helping Families 10-week course and Cool Corp Solutions - 8 week course. Each participant completes it prior the session attending and one week prior to the session ending. Participants learn about how they have progressed throughout the session when they compare their two profiles.

The three pillars of the Flourishing Life Questionnaire is one piece that shows individuals their strenghts and growth after attending the sessions.

Pillar 1: Personal Perception and Inner Strengths

The 4 areas convered are: Self-Awareness, Social-Awareness, Self-Management, and Self-Care

One example is -Self-Awareness which is defined as a conscious understanding of one's own character, strengths, feelings, motives and desires.

Pillar 2: Environmental Influence and Support Strengths

The 5 areas covered are: Home Life Influence/Support, Work/Role Influence/Support, Peer Influence/Support, Learning Influence/Support, and Community Influence/Support.

An example is Home Life Inflluence/Support and Work/Role Influence/Support which have the similar definitions - a personal context for home where one experiences genuine and suportive relationships that exhibit care, supportive expectations and effective communication. A work/role context where one experiences genuine and supportive relationships that exhibit care, supportive expectations and effective communication.

Pillar 3: Performance Skills and Character Strengths

The 5 areas covered are Internal Soft Skills/Traits, External Soft Skills/Traits and Mastery Soft Skills/Traits.

An example is Internal Soft Skills/Traits which is about Personal qualities and traits that enhance one's ability to actualize success.

Two other areas covered are 10-Core Competencies and 7 Well-Being Factors.

In my first Post - Mental Health Month of May Post - "I nearly lost my husband"

I took the time to do my own profile January 23, 2024 to know my strengths and what areas I could grow in - Emotionally Aware and Self-Regulated which I worked on. I would not have been as prepared when my husband had open heart surgery and by his side in the ICU watching 10 people trying to save his life. October 4, 2024, I was curious to know what my profile would show. This area was one of my strongest areas. What I needed to work on after this happened was Self-Kindness - TAKING CARE OF MYSELF. I had to take time out of my day for ME even if it was 15 minutes here and there. If I didn't, I would not be a good support for my husband.
